Why Preparation Matters
Coatings need a clean, textured surface to bond correctly; skip the prep and you risk peeling, bubbling, or premature failure. Our process ensures the concrete is properly profiled and free of contaminants so your new finish performs and lasts.

Before We Arrive
Please clear the area of vehicles, furniture, and personal items before our crew shows up. Once the space is ready, we handle the rest with professional care and respect for your property.

Step 1 — Grinding the Surface
We use professional diamond-bit grinders to open the concrete’s pores and remove any weak or deteriorated material. This creates the porous profile necessary for industry-grade polyurea, epoxy, or polyaspartic systems to bond effectively.

Step 2 — Containing Dust & Debris
Each grinder is connected to a high-capacity vacuum system that captures dust at the source. That keeps your space clean, protects indoor air quality, and leaves the surface debris-free for coating.

Step 3 — Removing Contaminants
Grease, oil, and other contaminants can block adhesion if not treated correctly. We apply commercial degreasers and specialty cleaners to lift stubborn stains and ensure the substrate is ready for a reliable bond.

Step 4 — Removing the Latent Layer
Cured concrete develops a weak, dense top layer that prevents coatings from penetrating. We remove this layer—typically about 1/16″—to expose the stronger, porous concrete beneath so the coating bonds deeply and durably.

After Prep — Ready for Coating
Once prep is complete, your floor is primed for a high-performance coating and a flawless finish. After installation, we provide a simple floor-care guide and stand behind our work with an industry-backed warranty.
